Christmas 2010

A bored Christmas, but is SPECIAL 1 for me. My man being so close wit my family recently, the happy thing. V went for a christmas lunch together. My father was the one who suggested for a japanese buffet, XENRI. It is a purely japaneseeeee food. Im not so likey as I am a very choosy ppl, dont want raw food, dont want oily food, dont want cold 1 and more and more.

After that, v spent a night at Genting. My man? of course always with me, he went there as well for the reason of missing me (lier?), but, he didnt stay overnight.

　　如果参赛者入睡后打鼾声音最响亮、姿势最优美或衣着最奇特可获加分奖励。得分最高者可获得1000欧元(约合人民币9256.40元)奖金。目前，医学界尚未对午睡的利弊形成统一的认识。有人说，睡午觉有利于身体健康，但也有人表示，午睡会增加患糖尿病的风险。

Hv a Break

V went to Melaka for 3days 2nights. At first, I scared it will be a dry trip, but it is fun at the end. This is the first trip with my college friends. 8 of us in 2 cars, Gps was our tour guide of the trip although it is stupid sometimes as bring us to toll and further way. Our first destination is A famosa water park. It is not worth it to play at there with RM35 entrance fee because not more than 10 games there. However, there is some extreme games which I don't dare to play. Haha. The worst thing in A famosa is the bathroom. The bathroom do not hv any door, it just cover with a curtain which cant totally cover, can c through the side lobang. Besides, v went for a Melaka town visit since most of them was first time visit melaka. Walk, snap, eat. But, hot sun was killing us. In the afternoon, V went for bowling. "Never seen never knew", it is suitable to use on Khew as he is a bowling King, he kept STIKE and Space and then become the winner of the day. Went to Melaka, food is a must, my favorite is satay celok and durian cendol, couldn't find the taste in KL. The night b4 v back, v did play some games. It is fun and memorable. V played and gossiped all night until 4 am and therefore v missed the next day breakfast provided by the hotel. =) Can't wait for the trip.

WCOA 2010

World Congress of Accountant (WCOA) held in various countries around the world, it' s in Malaysia this year. Being proud, we were hired by MIA as ursherer. We must present like adult bcz most of the delegates are professional accountants, MIA members, CEO or even FD. Most of them r friendly la. It is not a gd experience for me because v r cheap labour but expected to do everything nicely, however, it is the only opportunity to join this type of event at this stage i guess.

The 1st day, me n the Gang worked together at the side entrance of KL convention center which nearby Mandarin Oriental for greeting the delagates. V were acting like a robot, repeat and repeat the same things to them ''Gd morning" "Gd afternoon" "Registration is at Level 3". Bored n tired with this 3 sentences. The 2nd, 3rd and last day mainly stayed at conference hall 1. Tiring job as standing for 4 days which not allowed to sit on the delegates sit and can't eat their foods. I supposed to appreciate this opportunity to listen those talks, but tiring covers everything. Luckily, our kind supervisor, Joyce allows us to hv a sit for a while if tired.

I'm Back to College. I have been ignored my blog for thousand million years, HERE am i. Haha. I glad to be back to college however everything did not look nice. Timetable sucks. Kena Separate with my fellow friendsssssss. Stress with current group mates and lecturer. Urgh~~FML!

Outstation Assignment

My first trip to JB for assignment is about Internal Audit (IA). A senior brought me there, I appreciate the chance given by Grant Thornton. We were auditing maintenance department of a holding company. At that moment, I hv to behave like an auditor, i can't tell the management of the company that I'm a trainee. Omg, this is the hardest part for me. Seriously, I learnt much and enjoy the days. Besides working, I enjoy the accomodation provided. We were staying in Grand Paragon Hotel, comfort queen size bed for me and nice breakfast.

My interns until now, I learnt Due diligence work, receiver and manager work and IA. However, I hv no chance to learn external audit work bcz Im in consulting dept. Anyway, 2 months left, work hard and learn hard=)

Then, How r u guys? How's ur interns?

Broga Hill

A lesson of the trip: Dun give up! haha~

The night before, i didnt sleep bcz v hv to meet up at 3am. Reach semenyik around 5am then started our climbing. Congrats myself as I reached the top of Broga hill(4th stage), but the view there is not so nice compared to the 2nd and 3rd stage. V didnt clearly c the sun rise due to the clowdy. At last, I found that climb up is easier than go down.

Outstation

Im going to JB for assignment for 1 week. Dont miss me^^ Hopefully is a easy job bcz Im not so feeling well after the trip to Broga Hill. Every part of my body also pain, Yoko yoko cant help me...ugh~ Dun feel like moving.

Steffie is back

Yeah~ yeah~ say goodbye to EMO. Optimistic bac to me. hohoho~~~~~~~ When everything is clear, everything wil be GREAT!!! Now, Im enjoying my life. Appreciate what i hv n what i can do now. So, I love my works although OT until 4am, love my man and even miss my chilling friends.

Okay. Is time to update my friends. My life stil remains the same as work for 5 days and play for 2 days. Today hv a discussion wit my colleague, v were wondering why dont v works for 2 days and then play for 5 days. haha.. V missed our weekends, this feeling comes on every monday punctually, dont u?

Bac to the weekend that juz passed. I, she, he, V went to Genting for steamboat. Haha~ is steamboat, not gamble for me bcz im stil under-aged. Pity me and eva waiting for them outside the casino at midnight. Lol~

Is going to be a boring night today for me. I noe everyone is hot for world cup nowadays, today as well for brazil, but not for me. Everywhere and everyone cant live without world cup topic. Their life r much more nicer than me, fully support their team and so excited for the winners. For me, totally different, everyday wake up....work....makan... sleep... damn boring life... Wat to do? Tell myself to enjoy la. haiz... Im seriously emo since the result out, i noe. Sorry for the rubbish post. Ignore it.

昨天傍晚8点回到家，看见一辆‘面包’车停在我家门前，里面坐着一个华人的男生。我家的门全部开着。我们还在讨论是不是哥哥朋友来找他。 下车，要往家的铁门走去时，我们以为的‘哥哥朋友’开车飞的很快。我那时心里还骂‘做么哥哥朋友要驾酱快喔！’然后我走上去家门，发现我家门被破坏了，我快快叫妈妈，问她‘家里是不是进贼了？’ 我伸头看下家里面，里面很整齐。妈妈跑上房间看，结果。。。 乱到到。。。。还好损失不算很厉害。

Tired GTC

The time is 11.30pm, I m just back from work. Today is a tiring day especially my eyes, facing the com from 8.30am to 11pm. Damn tiring.Hmm.. It may b a nice experience and i can feel being like a staff in an accounting firm ald, they usually back home at mid night, around 2am. I dont think i will enjoy my future career like tis. Omg... I should consider this matter seriously.

Ok, Short post for today, hv to wake up at 7am for work again... Gd night, sweetiesss=)

FML

Started from last week, I really FML, hate my life til max. Everything gone worse n worst. I dont what to do recently, felt very bad right now. =( Bad results, lost my touch n go and kena marah kau kau, boring interns n so on. In short, FML.

One of the unlucky stuff could b intereting, i think. But, is scary for the moment I met. Yesterday, I bac as usual after my work, I used Putra Lrt since monorial hv some techinal problem. In the LRT, I realised a guy, ang mou, keep watching me. I thought is just a normal person, but after the train stopped in a station, tat guys changed his position to my side. At that moment, I still felt ok la, but until last station, the guys seem like chasing me and trying to talk to me. The 1st word he asked is that how to go sunway? I gave him a surprised face and he asked me whether I can understand english a not. Then he said he knew how to go but just wanna talk to me, he told that he is from sunway college studying mba and from turkish .... He said my eyes is nice, question mark? question mark? appearing in my mind. He didnt want to let me go unless i provided my contact. I rejected and drop my mail. I am scared. In the meanwhile, I think my touch n go lost in tat time. It is bcz tat time is the last I used=( F him also.


A mail from him received today:

"Hi this is murat, we met yesterday .As I said that day im studying mba in sunway . I'd like to invite you out someday to drink a coffee. I know u were kinda anxious that day because im not malaysian but i make you sure there is nothing to worry about that , I will never disturb ladies so u can be relax . But one thing i want from u is please reply to this message so i can make sure u have read it . It was nice to meet you , have a nice day...."

Grant Thornton

I am in second weeks of my intern. If u ask me what had I learnt, I would like to say 'Don't Know.' What I did in the office is just like a office girl and is so random, any staff can assign me work provided I am free n sitting there do nothing. Until now, I did photostap, key in documents, do amendments of documents, printing, sent document to clients, collecting 50K cash money from bank (proud of it, haha~ but not my money>< ), casting and so on. Hopefully I have more chance, I want go out of the office, meet more ppl.

In my 1st week, most of the staffs went outstation, left 2 trainees, me n amira, and also 2 staffs. U know what v did? 2 of us played com games, like cards, pinball and also Bingo. Not v wanted to do so, is that the staff hv nothing for us to do and they want us to made busy. They even brought us some finance books or some seminar slide, like FRS standards, to study. Boring. My 1st weeks is so unlucky, just sitting there wait for lunch, then until 5.30 back home. Anyway, everyone is back right now, it will b a busy week. =) Good Luck to me.

Hong Kong Trip

Me; My Bf, K. Hong; His friend, Keat; and Keat's Gf, Eva joined this trip. V planned this Hk trip 3 months ago. No flight promotion, no special rate for anything, but v juz wanted to travel to there.

The day before, 8 June 2010.

I stil went facial. The guys r stil working. Since our flight was at 7.00am of 19 June 2010, so v hv to reach LCCT at 5.00am. V planned to travel there by skybus at 3.30am. My house is quite nearby KL sentral, spend around 10 min to there. So that, I invited them to stay at my house from 11pm, and my bro fetching us to KL sentral at mid night. Seriously, cant slept well on this day.

Day 1, 9 June 2010.


Reached HK around 10.30am. Then, v went to KH's cousin house, where v would stayed there for 4 days 3 nights, to put down our luggage. After that, v had our lunch at a restaurant to try some unique foods that cant get from M'sia. V ate 碗仔粥 ，炸两 （猪肠粉包着油炸鬼），云吞面(must try in HK) and also 干炒牛河. Nice but expensive, but his cousin belanja la=)





Then, v went shopping. For example, 女人街, sell things like petaling street, usually for tourists. 波鞋街，sell shoes here, branded good eg nike, puma, lacoste, etc. and also some hk brand's shoes. They hv a nicer design n cheaper compared to KL. There r many many street instead of the above example, eg. car accesories, wedding ground and etc., but i cant really remember those streets' name. haha~ Their charateristics of shops are centralisation of goods and services. If u wanna search for a pair of shoes, u can directly access to 波鞋街. Erm... V juz went for shopping for this day, but not really spent much. Their fashion trend r quite similar to M'sia, the price of clothes are like sg.wang, price range start from RM 28, but nicer design of course. More expensive in a shopping complex indeed. For food, if u go 茶餐厅，there will b a big portion which 2 ppl can share.


This fried rice costed HK$ 30 (RM 13). Soup is provided. It is quite reasonable.

Day 2, 10 June 2010.

At first, v planned to go disney land. Lastly, v cancelled due to the rain. Non-stop Raining from mid night til the night of the day. V changed our plan to visit the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, 香港杜莎夫人蜡像馆. Take photo with artists and singers. Before this, v went stanley street 赤柱 by ferry for a walk and visit. Stanley street is a nice n comfort place for rest. HK ppl likes to go there for wedding photo shooting.

Transport of the day to stanley street, ferry. Take 15 minutes to reach.

Day 3, 11 June 2010.

Seriously, v prayed hard for a gd weather in order to go disneyland. V did it, haha, hot sun without raining. Last day at HK, v enjoyed to the max. Girls woke up early in the morning to mark up ourself since v knew there sure will b photo taking.

Conclusion:

Hong Kong is a nice place to live, however, I still love to stay at Malaysia. Haha~~ Anyway, v hv to thanks Jenny Tan, KH's cousin, for providing us a place to stay for this trip. Hmm... Next station for travel with him will be Lang Tengeh, back to Malaysia. We always love beach and snokelling.=)
